Gardens & Grounds

Julian Meadow View Inn is a unique place. We are nestled within pines with a spectacular view of our meadow, framed by mountains. Our goal is to blend with nature, and walking around our 53 secluded acres is encouraged. In the mornings you can usually see resident deer, there is always the chatter of birds, and our gardens provide flowers for birds and butterflies. Of course we have squirrels, raccoons along with other friendly critters.
Our gardens and grounds change with the seasons, so there is always something new to experience. In spring we have brilliant daffodils and summer brings in the lilacs. Fall brings the changing of leaves, almost like back East--with reds, golds and yellows. In winter we are blessed with snow flurries and sunny skies.
We do have some resident furry friends of our own--goats, chickens and horses, that you can visit. Most of these animals have been rescued and we encourage children to visit and get to know them.

Horse Riding Center at Meadow View Inn is now located in our lower meadow.  Enjoy a beautiful guided trailride over spectacular scenery without ever leaving the property.
